Rotary Park - Del Rio, TX

Del Rio Rotary Club is on a mission. A mission to make playground equipment accessible and available for children of all abilities. Gloria Wilson, the chairperson of the project says "We want all children in Del Rio to have a place to go and have fun. All children need a place to enjoy themselves and have fun." Gloria along with other Rotarians have worked endless hours to update and make the park a wonderful place for the Del Rio community. Right now, there is an accessible swing and a dome for climbing. There are plans for several more pieces of equipment and a water area in the future. The Rotary Club relies on donations from the public and grants that the club will be applying for.
