The Rodeo Queen Contest packets are ready to pick up. All interested applicants should come by 501 Cantu Rd Ste 200 to pick up the application. The contestant must be between the ages of 15 and 23 on May 16, 2008. She will be required to perform the ride pattern enclosed before the judges. The contestant must provide her own horse. Applications must be received by May 16, 2008. Tentative date for the judging will be May 22, 2008.
There is no entry fee, however the contestants are required to sell 25 tickets to the Del Rio Rotary Club’s Independence Day Rodeo. The winner will represent the Del Rio Rotary Club at various functions. She must be available July 4th and 5th for the Independence Day Rodeo. Rotary Club gives a $500.00 scholarship to the winner.
